Monkey See

We're close to boarding the flight in Seattle. Jameson went smoothly from Aunt Leah's lap to standing on her shoulders so he could better see the airplanes taking off.

Clean Up

We're packing up and getting ready to go. Jameson is helping by cleaning up the play set. There is a play duster that he is wiping everything down with. He is singing the clean up song to Leah.

Wedding Cake

Jameson has been playing with this glass, and tried to get some Cake. He somehow ended up with a good sized piece in the bottom of the glass, and has been alternating between scooping with the fork and attempting to drink the cake. It's nearly all gone, so he's going to be pretty hyper!

Chalk

Since they are cleaning the driveway, Jameson decided to color on this bench. I probably should put a stop to this, but he's having so much fun. Chalk will wash off, right?

Playhouse

Jameson really enjoys this big play house, and I really enjoy the swings next to it. Someone is power washing the driveway and Jameson is watching intently.

Coloring the Vacuum

Aunt Leah is drawing vacuums for Jameson to color. He gets so excited to color the pictures that he yells 'Thanks!' and tries to grab the crayon from her.

Jelly!

We're decorating sugar cookies for the reception. Jameson is going person to person saying 'want some!' Aunt Leah is brave enough to hold him and keep him from grabbing. She is squeezing frosting on and he yelled 'jelly!'

We're preping the lawn for the wedding, and Jameson is helping. He loves the bugs we find for him.

Mr. Tilley

Jameson hasn't napped very much today, and he's very tired. Mr. Tilley is reading him a Curious George ABC book. They are having so much fun.

Cleaning Up

I have been cleaning out the house, trying to get rid of extra stuff. Jameson likes to help! He calls all of the boxes his "cars" and likes to climb in them.



Jameson has gotten very good at climbing and getting wherever he wants to go. We're heading to Washington for Sherah's wedding tomorrow, and we will be surrounded by fields and woods. I'm sure Jameson is going to have a great time climbing around and finding bugs. Lots of pictures to come.

I'm not sure this is a "first", but yesterday Jameson said a very clear full sentence. He went out running errands with Nathan, then came home and asked for dinner. I asked him what he wanted, and he said, "I want some pasta." He is getting so good as expressing himself. He's also mastered the social norm of raising the pitch of his voice for a question. This sometimes turns into him saying, "cheese?" "chee-se?" "chee-eese?"

Lawnmower

Grandma got Jameson a bubble lawnmower as an early birthday present. This thing is neat - it also makes lawnmower noises! He pushed it around for awhile, then started saying 'put it back'. We figured he would take it to the door to go back inside, but he pushed it over to Grandpa's mower!
