Kid in a Toy Store

I bribe Jameson to be good in the store with promises of time in the toy aisles. He's figuring out how to make all the trucks make noise.

Play House

For only $290, you could give Jameson the joy of his own little home. We've been stuck in this aisle at Costco for quite awhile now. Ah, and now it's his garbage truck, and he has to get out to pick up each garbage can on the road.

Wow

We're getting the oil changed, and I had a feeling Jameson would like the repair shop. He's having a blast.

Harmonica

We're at a play group at the neighbors house. Jameson has been watching the older kids playing the harmonica, and now he's trying it out.

A New Friend

The playground is crawling with kids after church, and Jameson has made a new friend. Eli is a year older, but Jameson is still bigger than him.

Baking Boy Baking Boy Bak

Jameson loves helping me in the kitchen, especially when I give him some of the ingredients I'm using. He helped make cookies yesterday. I tucked a towel into his pants as an apron, and he took to the roll of chef quite well.

He decided some of the flour is to be saved for later, and that it is Christmas presents. For Uncle Ben, Aunt UAnn and Isaiah. Ariadne gets the bowl, I assume.

A New Kitchen

Last week I replaced the faucet on my bathroom sink, and want to make a new play kitchen for Jameson. We went to a thrift store today, I was hoping to find a bookshelf or something similar to use as the base (since cardboard didn't work too well before!)

I was so happy to find this old bathroom cabinet. It's metal, a little rusted, and missing the decorative part of one leg, but it's perfect for us. It has a drawer and two shelves in the cabinet. I took it in the backyard so I can clean it and re-paint it, but I think we'll end up leaving it there too.

Jameson took to playing with it right away. Several garden tools are hiding inside, and he was trying to tell me what the rake was for, but he got distracted.

He decided to chase the cat. She ran.

He got distracted by the scissors, and so Jasmine got to escape.
