Ah Wuh Woo and Melmo

Jameson's Aunt Leah got married a few weeks ago, making "Unc Shon" officially Uncle Jon.

Jameson's vocabulary and pronunciation is getting better every day, and he will typically try to say anything we prompt him. A few weeks ago Leah asked him to say "I love you", and he immediately responded with "Ah Wuh Woo". My heart just melted, and he has continued to say it when asked.

This Monday as Nathan was getting ready for work, Jameson heard him open the front door. Jameson came running down the hallway yelling, "Dada! Bye! Dada! Bye! Ah Wuh Woo! Bye!" and then he blew a kiss!

Nathan reports that Jameson also told the cat that he loved her a few days ago.

This morning Jameson added a new word to his vocabulary, and it's one I actually wish he didn't know: Elmo.

We have a book with Elmo, so Jameson has seen and heard about the little red furry guy for awhile. Elmo is also on his diapers, and on the diaper box. A few days ago Jameson noticed baby Elmo crawling on the diaper box, and told me that it was a frog. I thought this was hilarious, and have been telling the story all week.

I guess Jameson finally put it all together, and this morning after his diaper change, he crawled over to the diaper boxes and showed me every Elmo on the box. It started out as "melmo", but he got the correct pronunciation pretty quickly.
